The firm Schnell & Partner is drawing up a strategic development plan for the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg on behalf of the Ministry of Education and the Arts and in accordance with the Rector's Office. The practiced procedure of this firm increasingly aims at the integration of all responsible bodies in education and administration. With their consent-oriented approach Schnell & Partner has always provided a workable compromise. Therefore I ask you to actively support the project team of Schnell & Partner in talks and workshops as well as with the provision of materials.

Project and Task

A strategic development plan is to be worked up for the Martin Luther University. In this case the requirements from the structural development of the existing real properties are compared and a concept is presented to meet people's needs for the realisation of necessary construction activities.


Realisation

The planning of the future profile of the Martin Luther University is to be processed on a basis of a comprehensive analysis of the existing structures and prognosis about the possible development of students' numbers. A documentation about the properties of the MLU is to be drawn up. In this context a stocktaking has to be carried out reflecting the utilisation potential, running costs, and the necessary modernisation. Thus, a co-ordinated planning has to be established showing the complete architectural realisation of the 1st extension stage of the MLU Halle.
